Covid 19 Update 02/06/21

It has been fantastic welcoming customers back to our holiday cottages following reopening on the 12th April. With things starting to return closer to normal we have decided to add back some of our personal touches whilst staying at our properties.

Scatter cushions and runners are now back in the properties and we are now giving guest some complimentary gingerbread from The Apple Pie. Guests staying can benefit from 10% discount both in the Applt Pie cafe and shop on showing their key when being seated or when making any purchases.

We have also ceased using our antiviral fogging machine however we are still carrying out additional cleaning with antiviral spray throughout the property.

Hand sanitiser is available for use on entry.

Check in is from 4pm for the Cottage and Barn and 5pm for the Farm. Check out is by 10am.

We hope the above measures will not impact your stay and will keep you updated on changes further down the line.

....and you are in tier 2 and you wish to cancel, we will try to resell your room, if we are successful we will transfer your deposit to a future date.

....and you are in tier 1, our normal terms and conditions will apply.

If your booking is not before the next update, our normal terms and conditions will apply.

Before you arrive, what you need to know?

We have undertaken a comprehensive risk assessment and we have made some changes which will affect your stay.

At Goody Bridge Holiday Cottages we have taken some precautions on the site to ensure your safety but we must stress that you are visiting at your own risk and are responsible for your own behaviour during your stay. We have taken measures to mitigate the risks but not eliminate them and we cannot be held responsible for other people’s behaviour.

Do not leave home if you or anyone in your household has symptoms of Covid 19.

You will find the keys in the keybox next to the door, check with the office for the 3 digit key box code before you set off. (015394 33679 extension 1). Please put keys back in the key box by the front door on departure.

We have invested in a fogging machine to spray all areas before check- in with an antiviral mist.

To help us protect the cleaners, guests must strip the beds before they leave and put all the used duvet covers, pillow cases, bed sheets, towels, baths mats, tea towels and oven gloves into the empty laundry bags provided and leave in the living room. Please Leave mattress and pillow protectors in situ as we will deal with them oursleves.

We have also decided to remove all non-essential items including dvd’s, cd’s, books, scatter cushions and runners for your safety. We have also paired back the kitchen equipment. We will issue you with a reduced inventory of what we are providing with our confirmation email. It might be worth you considering bringing specific kitchen equipment not on the inventory, games etc with you to enhance your stay.

To allow time for extra cleaning we have altered check in and check out times. Check in will be from 4pm for the cottage and barn, 5pm for the farm and check out before 10am.

Due to the rapidly changing Government guidelines the precautions given above may alter prior to your stay and we will do our best to keep you updated.
