Covid 19 Update 19/07/21

We are conscious that as we emerge from lockdown measures, we will be encountering customers with different comfort levels. We want everyone to feel comfortable at The Apple Pie and we recognise that there will be some people who feel anxious and fearful about this easing, while others will feel totally ready and fed up with the restrictions we have faced.

With this in mind, our staff will continue to wear masks. We ask that if you are comfortable wearing a mask whilst queening and walking around the business, that you do so but we recognise that this is not mandatory. We will continue to provide hand sanitiser, should you wish to use it. We do ask that when queuing, you respect the space of others. We will also remain cashless - card and contactless payments only at present.

When using our indoor seating, we will be leaving windows and doors open to provide ventilation. Our tables will remain spaced apart as throughout the pandemic with screens in use in some areas.

The NHS Track & Trace QR code will still be up, and you will still be able to sign in and support Track & Trace, but your participation will not be mandatory. We will ask for a name and group size for table planning purposes only.

We will continue use virucidal cleaner, as we continue to prioritise your safety and the safety of our wonderful team, as we have throughout the pandemic.

We will continue with the 4-customer maximum in our Takeaway shop, as we feel it provides a more pleasant customer experience and avoids an instance of far too many people being crammed into a small space at once.

We are striving to hold each customer and staff member’s needs and comfort in balance, and we really hope that you can support us and assist us in this endeavour.

Thank you as always for your support and consideration

 Covid 19 Update 02/06/21

We were thrilled to get our cafe and bakery back open as and when restrictions allowed over the past few months.

With restrictions easing we are still doing our very best to ensure our customers and staff are kept safe.

Although we dont take bookings we do have plenty of tables available both indoors and outside with a queing system in place, entering from the front of the property. The rule of 6 or 2 households is still inplace for dining inside with larger groups able to dine outside. In line with government guidance all guests are to sign in or have details taken for track and trace are required to wear a mask when not setaed at a table. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

We are still offering our click and collect service daily for customers who want to beat the queue for our takeaway shop. We also still have our mail order shop offering a range of products that can be posted nationally.

Thanks to both our customers and our staff for your support over the last challenging year.

All the best!!
